Bruster’s Real Ice Cream
Connecting to Dairy Farm Freshness One Scoop at a Time
Bruster’s Real Ice Cream was looking to double to triple its footprint at national scale. The existing materials and experiential cues were dated and holding them back from an authentic and premium experience.
Through elevating the guest experience (from tapping into the dairy farm fresh feel) and making it easier to get credit for factors such as making ice cream fresh on site daily, to sourcing the dairy from their own farms, Rubber and Road created a flexible new design that is attractive for new franchisees and customers, but also could be retrofitted in some capacity over a 3-tiered remodeled approach.
The results: the new design is significantly outperforming existing stores with consistent positive same-store sales growth, monthly, and development deals are in the works for newbuilds at national scale.
“Rubber & Road was in sync during our entire time together. The team really immersed themselves into our brand”
